Be colorful, be different, be a flamingo! A real hype has arisen around these “birds of paradise.” The fascination with the animal can be attributed to its elegant, pink appearance. With its specially shaped beak, the flamingo filters out the foods it needs most—plankton as well as tiny crustaceans and shrimp, which also contain carotenoids and are responsible for the beautiful pink color of its feathers. Cyril Lancelin’s installations relate to the human body and question dimensions. The French-born artist uses 3D modeling software to develop his artworks.
